Toonigh Creek Falls, also known as Allatoona Falls, is a scenic 20-foot waterfall located near Woodstock, Georgia, where Toonigh Creek drains into Lake Allatoona.
Trail Overview: Length: Approximately 3.2 miles out-and-back.
Difficulty: Moderate; the trail includes some inclines and uneven terrain.
Terrain: The path comprises dirt trails, gravel roads, and areas with exposed roots and rocks.
Pine Mountain Trail in Cartersville, Georgia, is described as a moderately challenging hike with an elevation gain of about 750 feet to the summit. The terrain includes rocky paths, packed dirt trails, and some steep inclines, especially as you approach the top. There are switchbacks as we ascend and we will pace our hike to summit with breaks.
Sturdy hiking boots or trail shoes with good traction are recommended. Trekking poles can provide extra stability on steeper sections.
